Isabel is a native of the continent of Australia in Melbourne. His father is from Australia, and her mother is Swiss. Her family lived in Australia, Switzerland, Melbourne Jabiru (a small mining community within the Northern Territory), Cairns Australia as well as Jabiru in Switzerland. Together with her sister Nina Isabel, she attended schools where First Nations and other children from different backgrounds were accepted. Isabel is currently living in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel was engaged in drama from her school days. Following her graduation from Queensland University of Technology she continued her studies in acting at the Victorian College of Arts. Also, she has recently completed an PEM Method course (Perdekamp Emotional Method) study. Her agent in 2002 realized that she'd not appeared in a production before. She appeared as Tasha in Home and Away from 1988. Producers thought she was not suitable for the role, however they were pleasantly surprised that they created a brand new character to her Tasha. The initial TV show she played was for three years, and she was awarded her the Logie Award for new popular new talent. Isabel moved into Los Angeles from New York in the year 2008. Her breakthrough came with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, (2009). Since then she starred in many US and Australian film productions, and was awarded several awards. Isabel has recently appeared in Bosh & Rockit a film rapidly becoming an Australian iconic, as well as the soon-to-be-released thriller Lunacy. Isabel wrapped Sons of Summer recently and is currently in preproduction for Marie Curie's role in Radiant, a film by the award-winning director/writer Annika Glac.
